My Techniques bring amazing Results. Having worked with the horses during my training and seeing remarkable results, immediate and long term, inspired me to continue the good work and treat Horses to enhance their physical and emotional Well-Being.

Horstmann for Horses is one of the very gentle Techniques I use that address the Horses problem areas

Neck and Shoulder, Muscles, Ligaments, Tendons, Joints, Back Muscles, Legs and Hoofs

The Techniques used also help Horses with Behaviour Problems which are often due to emotional Blockages caused by Stress and/or Fear.

 

The Horstmann for Horses was developed by Horstmann Technique® Teachers in Finland. They found that the Therapy, being very effective in treating Humans, could also be adapted and used to benefit Horses.

A visit takes approximately one and a half hours per Horse. Specific Energy Points are gently held on the Horses Body; at times the Legs are gently maneuvered. Changes are usually observed after the first treatment. Chronic cases however may require 2-3 treatments to achieve lasting results. Horses that have a demanding competition schedule benefit from being treated more often for maintenance. Riders who compete regularly are usually in tune with their horses to know when to arrange for the next visit. Like Athletes, competition horses have more demands placed on them.

“Ceviant, a mare, had a difficult problem. Every time a bird came close, she started stepping sideways, even went
up on her back legs. Her fear created dangerous situations for the riders. After receiving one Treatment there was an immediate response when two Swallows flew into the stable. Ceviant looked at them but didn’t even move. It is so wonderful riding her now, as she is no longer afraid of birds. Her movement and stature have improved and she now even jumps higher!”

Success Story: Kjell from Sweden says

“Moonlight was bought as a 5 year old with very hard muscles. Vets and horse physio- therapists unsuccessfully treated several
inflammations in the fetlock joint. In spring 2004 she was in a really bad state. The hips were in pain and not strait, the tail at an
angle, pain in the joints. The vet had no hope of her recovering. We were prepared to put her down. The vet then gave her anti- inflammatory medicine. The horse got better and could be ridden, but after a couple of days she fell during a ride and looked like she was going to die. Diagnosis and x-ray showed inflammation of the fetlock joint, cortisone was given and she was sent home.

After a couple of Horstmann for Horses treatments the horse became more energetic, happier, her hair shiny and could be ridden even by our daughter. Now in February 2006 she is strait in her body. Her galloping used to be at an angle, it is now strait. She can move sideways and also be ridden in diagonal. Her muscles are soft and flexible.”
